Hi, I’m Georgie - founder of The Cancer Closet.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and suddenly found myself thrown into a world I never expected to be part of. There were appointments, surgeries, chemo, and a whole lot of things completely outside my control.

Then came hair loss. And honestly? I hated the headwear options. I searched HIGH and LOW and everything felt daggy, frumpy or just… not me. I didn’t want to spend precious energy tying scarves or figuring out complicated wraps. I wanted something easy. Something comfortable. Something that still made me feel stylish and like myself.

When I finally found a style that worked, it changed everything. It sounds small, but when cancer takes so much from you, finding something that helps you feel confident again matters. A lot.

So somewhere between chemo appointments, hot flushes and the pitying looks, The Cancer Closet was born.

I created this because I wanted women to have the options I wish I had: bold prints, fun colours, comfort and headwear that felt more fashion and less medical supply catalogue.

Because you can lose your hair, your boobs, even your energy… but never your style.
